We’re seeking an experienced Aircraft Braking & Hydraulic Valve Engineer to join our Engineering team in Ansty, Coventry. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of aircraft braking system valves, working across all phases of the product lifecycle — from initial design through to production support.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Aircraft Braking & Hydraulic Valve Engineer, you’ll:

Provide mechanical and electrical engineering expertise in the design, testing, maintenance, and improvement of aerospace components. Apply knowledge of servo valve design and operation to develop and enhance braking systems. Solve complex technical problems using analysis, experience, and engineering judgment. Manage project documentation, analyse data, and prepare reports. Create Engineering Change Notices covering design improvements, obsolescence, source changes, and corrections.
