Our OEM Client based in Ryton-on-Dunsmore, Coventry, is searching for an AME Senior Engineer to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position until 18th September 2026.\n\nUmbrella Pay Rate: £33.64 per hour.\n\nDuties:\n\nEnsure all given programmes are delivered to agreed timing plan.\nDrive resolution of issues through AIMS (Internal Issue Management System).\nEnsure all scorecard items are completed to achieve an on time and on quality launch.\nEnsure all build issues are contained or resolved within 24 hours.\nLead various Agile meetings such as Stand Up, Group Sync and Sprint Planning.\nWork with cross-functional teams to identify the route cause to complex issues and define solutions using robust problem-solving techniques.\nPromote a culture of continuous improvement via Lessons Learnt and the use of best practice.\nCo-ordinate launch activities such as the launch checklists, scorecards and gateways.\nWorking with the cross functional SVO team and our client’s wider business to ensure all gateways are passed robustly on time.\nManage vehicle movements and storage for embargoed vehicles.\n Skills Required:\n\nExcellent problem-solving abilities.\nMethodical but dynamic approach to solving complex problems.\nA good communicator with the ability to assimilate data from multiple areas to reach a conclusion.\nGood knowledge of Vehicle Manufacturing Process and Procedures.\nResults driven with a passion for continuous improvement and ability to meet or plan to tight deadlines robustly and honestly.\nAn individual with the ability to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style
