Play a central role in the smooth running and improvement of our Warehouse Management System. Thermotraffic is a major player in the world of multi-temperature warehousing and logistics. We operate a WMS at six different cold store sites in England and work with an international team that looks after business applications across England, Belgium and the Netherlands. A large and international structure

Thermotraffic is a 100% subsidiary of Nichirei Corporation. Our objective is to offer a seamless, end-to-end multi-temperature warehousing and logistics chain. We provide services to importers, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and distributors. You will be part of a substantial organization with resources to support your work.

Crucial support and continuous improvement

As an Application Engineer for Thermotraffic you will be central to the configuration, support and continuous improvement of a WMS platform. You will work at the heart of complex international supply chains, collaborating with cross-functional teams including logistics, IT, and operations to understand business needs and translate them into system requirements.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Providing first-line support to end-users and resolving application-related issues, including scanners, printers and data exchange with customers (EDI).
  • Assisting in the configuration, testing, and deployment of new WMS solutions.
  • Participating in system upgrades, enhancements, and integration projects.
  • Documenting processes, configurations and user guides.
  • Monitoring system performance and proactively identifying areas for improvement.

You report to the Team Leader Business Applications.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in application support or software implementation;
  • Knowledge of warehouse or logistics processes is a strong plus;
  • Knowledge of ProWMS (Principal Logistics WMS) is a strong plus;
  • Strong written and spoken English language communication skills.
