About the Position
My client is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Applications Engineer to support the preparation of multidisciplinary proposals that merge both technical and commercial content. While prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable, we are equally interested in candidates with a strong engineering background and a drive to deliver outstanding results.
Although the role is primarily office-based, it includes opportunities for international travel, primarily within the EMEAR region, to engage directly with clients and contribute to technical and commercial discussions.
Key Responsibilities for the applications engineer role:
* Technical Analysis Interpret and analyse customer enquiries and specifications to design and specify appropriate equipment.
* Process Design Develop a solid understanding of process design and calculations. Full training will be provided.
* Proposal Development Prepare competitive, technically sound, and commercially viable proposals aligned with customer requirements and defined scope.
* Customer Engagement Maintain communication with customers during the quotation phase, addressing technical and commercial questions to secure purchase orders.
