Our client in Lanarkshire is looking for an Apprentice Fire & Security Engineer to join their team. If you would be eager to build a career in the Fire & Security Industry, this is your chance to gain hands-on experience while working towards industry-recognised qualifications.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Assisting with the installation and maintenance of Fire, Intruder Alarms, CCTV & Access Control.
Learning how to diagnose and repair faults across all disciplines
Working with structured cabling and wireless technologies
Working in Commercial and Domestic properties
What You’ll Achieve:
SQA Fire & Security Qualifications
FIA Fire Qualifications
Health & Safety Training, including risk assessments and safe working practices
Electrical & Cabling Techniques
Fire & Security System’s Installation & Fault-Finding
Working at Heights & Manual Handling Training
Wireless Communications & Wired Installations
What We’re Looking For:
A high interest for working in the Fire & Security industry and as an engineer
A hands-on approach and willingness to learn new skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
A team player with good communication skills
A full UK driving license - or current working towards one with the aim of achieving it very soon
