Overview

Area Sales Engineer will cover the area spanning Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, and Wiltshire, for a global manufacturer of engineered steam & sustainability solutions. These steam solutions include valves, pumps, cylinders, boilers, steam traps etc. The Area Sales Engineer will be able to leverage pre-existing relationships as an out and out brand leader and create new project pipeline off the back of this.

Responsibilities

  • Selling to a range of end users, such as Contractors & Consultants, in sectors including process, manufacturing (food & beverage), pharmaceutical, healthcare, water treatment, etc. You will partner with their engineers and procurement teams to design, install, and maintain systems in their premises, some of which are new-build projects.
  • Build relationships with a reseller network, M&E Contractors, and Consulting Engineers.
  • Work with internal and field teams to support sales activities and achieve targets.

Requirements

  • Have a mechanical engineering sales background
  • Based in the South Central area
  • Sell an engineering related product into process/production end user environments
  • Have been exposed to meeting customers face to face across a defined geographical area
  • A confident team player
  • Open to an Internal Sales Professional looking to get into the field who has Mechanical Engineering academic qualifications
  • Full & Clean Driving license

Salary

£50,000-55,000 DOE + 15% OTE (can be doubled to 30% of salary) + Car + Pension + Healthcare + Company Share Scheme + 27 days holiday (+ stats on top)
