Overview

Area Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Sales Development Engineer position for industrial electrical control and automation products in North Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and parts of Derbyshire (Mansfield, Worksop, Retford, Alfreton, Clay Cross, Chesterfield, Dronfield, Sheffield).

Responsibilities

• Sell a range of Industrial Automation products (Control Gear, Switchgear, Circuit Protection, Variable Speed Drives, Sensors, Enclosures, Connectors and Consumables, PLC/HMI and Process Instrumentation and ATEX equipment) into OEM, End User, System Integrator and Panel Builder markets.
• Develop and manage an existing portfolio of accounts and identify new business opportunities to achieve defined sales targets.
• Build and execute a personal sales plan; work with Microsoft packages; collaborate with team; maintain high levels of customer service.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience in Industrial Automation sales with a proven track record.
• Electrical/Electronic qualification to ONC/HND or above desirable but not essential.
• Ability to demonstrate industry knowledge, product knowledge and sales ability; potential for further sales training.
• Good organisational and communication skills; ability to work autonomously within a team.

Territories include North Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and parts of Derbyshire; suitable locations include Mansfield, Worksop, Retford, Alfreton, Clay Cross, Chesterfield, Dronfield, Sheffield.
