Assembly Engineer Poole, Dorset Salary Negotiable Our client who specialises in Precision Engineering, is looking for a skilled Assembly Engineer to join their growing team! Assembly Engineer Roles and Responsibilities: Assemble components and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions and established procedures Familiar with Staking Bearings, Heli-Coils, Valve Assembly, Beading using sealants such as PR1770 Competent with self-inspection and testing of finished products Ensure all assembled components meet the required specifications and quality standards Assemble in accordance with kit Kanban requirements Identify and rectify any assembly defects Maintain a clean and organised work area (5C) Follow all safety regulations and procedures Assist with the maintenance of assembly tools and equipment Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effective Carry out Bearing and bush assembly, Lee plug and helicoid inserts, Valves assembly [valve seats] and Fasteners/wire locking/beading Self-inspection and testing of finished product The ideal Assembly Engineer will: Proven experience as an Assembler or similar role within an engineering environment A strong understanding of mechani...
