As part of our commitment to evolving our products and strengthening our position as a leading supplier of innovative solutions to the UK water and drainage infrastructure industry, we have a new opportunity for an Assistant Civil Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team.
What’s the mission?
Supporting our Senior Civil Lead Engineer, you will be an integral part of our dedicated team of Design Engineers passionate about developing our products and service offerings. Your main responsibilities will include providing design and technical support for Marshalls Water Management product ranges, focusing on our structural product line offering bespoke water management products and our Redi-Rock retaining wall system. You will produce drawings, calculations, and provide engineering support to high standards, ensuring compliance with Marshalls and industry standards.
Critical skills required
- Expert knowledge within the technical engineering environment
- Experience in civil/structural design and technical environments
- Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Construction-related qualification (degree preferred)
- Working knowledge of Eurocode 2 design, EN 1992 Part 1-1
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Structural Engineering Software (experience with SCIA software is ideal)
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Flexibility to adapt and respond to change
- Proven ability to motivate yourself to meet project deadlines
