Join Our Design Centre Team - Assistant Digital Engineer

Location: Centre of Excellence for Modern Construction (CEMC), Worksop

At Laing O'Rourke, we're transforming how the built environment is designed and delivered. Our Centre of Excellence for Modern Construction (CEMC) is at the heart of this transformation - and we're now looking for an Assistant Digital Engineer to join our Design Centre team. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring ideas to life by supporting Delivery Excellence and Engineered Safety through digital design and manufacturing simulations.

About the Role

As an Assistant Digital Engineer, you'll:

• Support our Engineering and Technical Leaders in modelling and producing digital simulations and animations of manufacturing processes.
• Use tools such as SketchUp, Revit, Tekla Structures, Twinmotion, CMBuilder, and more (experience in one or more is great - a willingness to learn is even better!).
• Help visualise and refine manufacturing sequences through workshops with project and manufacturing teams.
• Gain exposure to a wide variety of construction and manufacturing processes - providing a brilliant platform for career development.

About You

We\'re looking for someone who:

• Loves working with model authoring software and creating animations/visualisations.
• Is a quick learner with the confidence to pick up new software packages.
• Ideally has an engineering or construction background (or a keen interest to learn).
• Has strong communication skills to share ideas clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
