Position: Assistant Electrical Authorising Engineer Location: Thames Water Framework Rate Guide: £60,000 - £65,000 Plus Car/Allowance & Package Our client is a Tier 1 D&B Contractor operating predominantly in the water industry who have been awarded a programme of work to deliver non-infrastructure water and wastewater projects for Thames Water and they are recruiting for an Assistant Authorising Engineer to help deliver these projects. You will report directly to the Senior Commissioning Manager and will be the regional electrical H&S management focal point to maintain standards and compliance throughout the Thames Water framework. Responsibilities will include: Supporting the H&S team in matters of electrical safety. Administration of the electrical safety rules. Maintenance of rules in line with legislative, regulatory or industry changes. Providing professional and technical guidance on electrical construction & electrical contracting delivery. Administers and monitors use of the LV Electrical Safety Rules. Ensuring that any amendments to the LV Electrical Safety Rules are brought to the attention of, and are understood by, all Responsible Persons, and Authorised Persons.
