Location: Salford, Greater Manchester

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - with some flexibility available to suit your needs!

Your Responsibilities

As an Assistant Engineer, you will play a vital role in our Civil Engineering team . Your contributions will help shape highways designs, drawings, reports, and supporting documentation, all while adhering to project briefs, timelines, and budgets.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Producing and checking coordinated drawings, design models, schedules, and specifications within a quality assurance environment.
• Preparing preliminary and detailed designs for local and national authorities, supporting senior engineers with various design duties.
• Assisting in technical and feasibility studies, ensuring compliance with guidelines and regulations.
• Delivering technical files and documentation, conducting site investigations, and analyzing data.
• Contributing to technical excellence and innovation, providing creative solutions to engineering challenges.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

• You hold relevant professional qualifications.
• You have a strong working knowledge of civil engineering design software, such as AutoCAD .
