Associate Civil Engineer

We are looking to expand our Infrastructure and Highways senior management team and appoint an exceptional Associate Civil Engineer to work across various projects within our Infrastructure team in Leicester, Sheffield or Manchester. Working closely with the Director, you will be responsible for leading major projects across sectors including residential, custodial, leisure, defence, education, healthcare and heritage. You can expect to be involved in:

1. Managing a variety of projects in size, type, and complexity
2. Supervising a team of engineers and technicians to ensure project delivery to quality, time, and budget standards

Core duties include:

• Achieving the disciplines' targets through excellent service delivery
• liaising with clients and supporting business development activities (bidding, tendering, client interviews)
• Managing programming, staff resources, team utilization, and overseeing designs and reports

About You

The successful candidate will have significant proven infrastructure experience and be passionate about civil engineering. To be considered, you must have:

• Leadership skills, proactive and positive attitude, and understanding of key objectives and efficient delivery
• Experience liaising with clients and managing infrastructure schemes and bespoke projects
• Experience in writing and presenting reports, client interaction, and work winning
• Good knowledge of industry design software such as Site 3D, Infraworks, Civil 3D
• Excellent communication skills in writing and presenting

Desirable qualifications include:

• CEng or IEng status
• Experience with various contract types
