Associate Mechanical Engineer – Building Environments\nManchester | Global Projects | Award-Winning Consultancy\n\nWe’re looking for an Associate Mechanical Engineer to join the Building Environments team of a world-class, multi-disciplinary engineering practice in Manchester.\n\nThis is an opportunity for a building services specialist to lead cutting-edge MEP projects, shape industry-leading designs, and collaborate across disciplines on some of the most ambitious developments in the UK and internationally.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Associate Mechanical Engineer, you’ll:\n\n * Take a lead role in delivering projects across the UK, and the Middle East – from high-end residential and mixed-use developments to research facilities, leisure schemes, and refurbishments.\n\n * Guide and mentor engineers and technicians, ensuring technical excellence and innovation across the mechanical team.\n\n * Build and strengthen client relationships, offering design-led solutions and managing expectations.\n\n * Oversee technical specifications, project finances, and resourcing to ensure efficient delivery.\n\n * Contribute to business development by preparing proposals and supporting bids.\n\nYou’ll work closely with a UK MEP team of 125+ specialists, as well as experts in sustainability, building physics, fire, facades, lighting, and technology.
