Located in the heart of the city, we are positioned to take advantage of opportunities both locally and further afield. You will be based in Leeds but work across a wider geography. The delivery of a safe, secure and healing environment is our number-one priority; creating spaces that make the life-changing work of healthcare professionals that little bit easier.As an Associate or Senior Associate Mechanical Engineer, you will be leading large-scale, complex projects, including managing stakeholders’ expectations, monitoring and reporting metrics, motivating others to work at their best, and ensuring the most productive use of time and resources.What you can expect to doBe in a client-facing role, attending project meetings and disseminating the brief within the project team. You will need to be personable and a good communicator.Lead the development of initial strategic concepts for projects, ensuring solutions are appropriate for the brief and regulatory standards.Take responsibility for solid technical delivery in your work, either alone or as part of a team.Engage with junior support staff, offering guidance to develop their skills and maximise team performance.Collaborate with the Firm-wide Group to gain experience, share knowledge, and disseminate learnings across the Firm.Be financially astute and work with the team leader to monitor fee expenditure and resources.Explore new ways of working and allocate time for innovation and research to stay ahead of competitors.Create and maintain a high reputation within the industry and adhere to quality management and risk control procedures.About YouTo be successful in this role you’ll need:Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or closely related role, with a track record delivering on a variety of complex healthcare projects.Understanding of all mechanical services including heating, ventilation and air conditioning.Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment with excellent communication skills with internal and external clients, and a team-based approach.Experience using relevant software/tools such as Revit and AutoCAD.Self-awareness, an open mind, and a spirit of generosity.Conversant with relevant British Standards.Previous consultancy experience and appreciation for complementary specialisms such as acoustics, fire engineering and computer modelling in building design.How To ApplyTo apply, simply complete a CV profile and submit your application.
