Overview

Copper was founded in 2018 to set the standard for institutional digital asset infrastructure, with a focus on custody, collateral management, and prime services. Led by Global CEO Amar Kuchinad, Copper provides a comprehensive suite of custody, trading and settlement solutions that reduce counterparty risk and improve capital and operational efficiency in digital asset markets. Copper’s Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology underpins its secure custody, enabling connections to centralized exchanges, DeFi applications and staking pools without assets leaving custody. ClearLoop is Copper’s market-leading solution that addresses counterparty risk with exchanges, underpinning a full prime services offering that enables customers to trade and settle directly from MPC-secured wallets. By reducing settlement time to a few milliseconds (without blockchain network dependencies) and enhancing security, ClearLoop is reshaping how asset managers trade and manage capital. Copper also maintains strong insurance coverage with an A+ rated insurer, reinforcing its position as a partner of choice for institutions seeking to safeguard assets.

This is an entry-level opportunity for an Associate Software Engineer to join our Exchanges team at Copper to build new back-end microservices and integrate with cryptocurrency exchanges.
