Our client is a leading consultancy is seeking an ambitious Associate Structural Engineer to join their expanding Colchester office. This is an ideal step for a senior engineer ready to progress or an Associate seeking fresh challenges and real impact.
Client-facing and hands-on, you'll lead structural design across a diverse portfolio-residential, education, heritage, healthcare, and more. Expect to manage projects, mentor junior engineers, and drive innovative, practical solutions from concept to completion.
Responsibilities:
Deliver coordinated structural designs across various sectors
Lead project teams and oversee technical output
Ensure quality, safety, and client satisfaction on every job
Attend and lead design meetings, provide input into bids and proposals
Foster strong client and team relationships
About You:
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Solid industry experience, ideally in consultancy
Strong leadership, communication, and commercial skills
A proactive, solution-led mindset
