About the Company:

We’re working with a leading multidisciplinary engineering and design consultancy, renowned for delivering elegant and innovative structures across the UK and internationally. Their Surrey office is at the heart of some of the industry’s most exciting, architecture-led projects — and they are now looking for an Associate Structural Engineer to join the team.

The Role:

As an Associate Structural Engineer, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high-profile, design-led projects. You’ll collaborate with architects, clients, and engineers across disciplines to create innovative solutions, while guiding project teams and supporting the studio’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage structural design projects from concept through to delivery.
• Work closely with architects and other design professionals on complex, creative structures.
• Oversee technical excellence across projects, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, helping to develop their technical and professional skills.
• Contribute to business development and client relationships.
• Play an active role in the leadership of the Surrey office, with a clear pathway for progression.

About You:

• Chartered (MIStructE / CEng) or working towards chartership.
• Strong track record delivering structural engineering projects in the UK (experience with international projects a bonus).
• Confident working on architecture-led and design-driven schemes.
• Ability to lead project teams and manage client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Passion for innovation and shaping the future of the built environment.
