As a Systems Engineer, you will be integral to maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, primarily focused on systems used directly by our developers to ensure a consistent and reliable service. Our team’s key goal is to minimize downtime in the game development process caused by IT-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and maintaining Perforce and Gitlab
- Manage and maintain Debian-based Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS)
- Utilize Linux management tools such as Puppet, Foreman, and RHEL Satellite for system configuration and administration
- Automate and script Linux tasks using Bash and Ansible
- Create and maintain documentation for IT systems in Atlassian Confluence for solutions and processes
- Support O365/Entra and other SaaS applications
- Collaborate with game development teams to identify areas for IT support and facilitate development timelines
- Administer Perforce (P4/Helix Core)
- Manage Debian-based Linux systems proficiently
- Use Linux management tools effectively
- Automate Linux tasks through scripting
- Perform basic server hardware maintenance (rack mounting, cabling, upgrades)
- Manage Windows Server environments (setup, configuration, application management)
Desirable (Non-essential) Skills:
- Experience with VMWare and/or Proxmox virtualization
- Knowledge of storage management systems like Nimble/Alletra
- Familiarity with SaaS administration (O365/Entra)
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools
