- Minimum 5 years’ experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Proficient in one or more cloud platforms—Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, or AWS.
- Skilled in CI/CD tools such as CircleCI and GitHub Actions.
- Experienced in infrastructure automation using Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting and debugging skills in Python, Shell, and SQL.
- Familiarity with regulated environments and compliance frameworks, including ISMS and audit requirements.
- Ability to support onboarding and coordination of junior engineers, and assist in knowledge transfer and documentation.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency.
- Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field required.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant discipline is a plus.
- Support the reliability, scalability, and automation of Moody’s MAP platform services through infrastructure automation, CI/CD enablement, and cross-team collaboration.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Contribute to build and deploy pipelines using CircleCI and GitHub Actions.
- Maintain and monitor production services on MAP, ensuring performance, availability, and security.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development, security, and platform teams to onboard strategic applications and ensure compliance.
- Develop and refine observability tooling and automation frameworks.
- Support onboarding of junior engineers and assist in documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure infrastructure and deployment practices align with Moody’s ISMS and audit requirements.
Our Platform Engineering team is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions that power Moody’s MAP platform.
We contribute to Moodys by enabling automation and continuous delivery across cloud environments. We ensure high performance, availability, and security of production services and collaborate across development, security, and operations to support strategic application onboarding and compliance.
