As a member of the Audit and Regulatory Compliance (A&RC) team you will play a critical role to ensuring Rolls-Royce maintains its required certifications. The A&RC team is strategically placed in the Business Support Organization as it must interface with all areas of the business coordinating assurance of regulation and certification requirements. The Regulations Interface Lead will specifically support the expositions across the Bristol campus and maintenance of the connection between the regulations and the RR Management System (ARIS). You will need to become a subject matter expert in the different regulations that the Bristol site (and deployed sites) must maintain a certification. You will also be the main point of contact between RR and the customer/regulatory contact. It is also your responsibility to drive continued improvement and effectiveness of the system working with business leaders throughout the site.

What you will be doing:
- Develop and maintain required expositions with regulatory bodies - Support the Defence business and coordinate the development & implementation changes to ensure sites are fully informed, supported and compliant to regulatory requirements
- Co-ordinate and manage across Defence the required accreditations of RR staff (ie Form Four Holders)
- Working with the business to identify, create, maintain applicable documentation, processes and instructions - request updates to ARIS and regulatory standards, as appropriate
- Resolve internal, customer & regulatory issues through the robust application of problem resolution tools and methodologies
- Contribute to risk based audit plans and leads internal audits and host external audits imposed on the organisation as directed
- As part of the Audit & Regulatory team, this role will also support business requirements such as development and maintaining appropriate development metrics, reviews and tools.

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, approval and sustainment processes
- Quality management system alignment to regulations governing our Defence facilities
- Past experience in interfacing with regulatory bodies
- Experience in an operational environment
- Experience in leading teams, influencing and building relationships at different levels of the organization
- Problem solving skills (8D practitioner preferred)
- Demonstrated evidence of business acumen related to quality, manufacturing and commercial activity.
