Overview

Automatic Gate & Barrier Engineer - South East / South London. This role is with a well-established specialist in the automatic gate and barrier industry. You will join a team focused on high engineering standards, people development, and long-term progression.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and fault-finding on automated gates, barriers, and access control systems


• Cover residential and commercial sites across South East and South London


• Carry out routine maintenance and reactive call-outs


• Liaise with customers to deliver high-quality service and technical support

What We\'re Looking For

• 2-3+ years\' experience working with automated gates and barriers


• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills


• Confident working on swing/sliding gates, barriers, motors, control panels, and safety devices


• Full UK driving licence is essential


• DHF, Gate Safe, or CSCS certifications are desirable but not essential


• Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude

What’s on Offer

• Basic salary of £38,000 - £42,000 (dependent on experience)
