OverviewAutomation Engineer with hands-on experience in Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems to join our dynamic engineering team. With a presence in 30 countries and over 140 locations worldwide, SEGULA builds close partnerships with clients through the expertise of its 15,000 employees.ResponsibilitiesAGV System Integration: Lead and support the installation and commissioning of AGV tracks and infrastructure.Programming & Configuration: Develop and optimize AGV control logic, including path planning, obstacle avoidance, and task scheduling.Test Runs & Validation: Conduct AGV test runs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems meet performance and safety standards.HMI Development: Design and implement Human-Machine Interfaces for AGV control and monitoring.PLC Programming: Configure and maintain PLCs for AGV and associated automation systems.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to deliver seamless automation solutions.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, test results, and maintenance procedures.Required Skills & ExperienceProven experience with AGV systems, including track installation and test commissioning.Strong knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).Experience with HMI design and development.Familiarity with industrial automation protocols and safety standards.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Additional InformationWhy Join Us?Be part of a forward-thinking engineering services company with a strong reputation.Lead digital initiatives that directly impact business growth.Work in a collaborative, innovative, and supportive environment.Initial 6 month placementSeniority levelExecutiveEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at SEGULA Technologies by 2x.
