Infrastructure & Cloud Automation Engineer
Location: London, Hybrid 3 days onsite
Type: 6 month FTE

Do you thrive on solving complex technical challenges and delivering secure, resilient, and automated solutions? If so, we want you to join our team as an Infrastructure & Cloud Automation Engineer.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our technology landscape, driving efficiency through automation, enabling FinOps practices, and optimising cloud operations.
The Role:
Designing and implementing cloud solutions across Azure and AWS, supporting enterprise-scale transformation programmes.
Developing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Compliance-as-Code solutions using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and ARM templates.
Building and maintaining monitoring platforms (LogicMonitor, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch) and integrating AIOps with ServiceNow.
Delivering automation, APIs, and backend pipelines to support FinOps and governance initiatives.
Working across virtualisation, storage, networking, and both Windows and Linux environments to ensure performance, resilience, and security.
Collaborating with development and infrastructure teams, championing DevOps and Agile practices to drive continuous delivery and cloud adoption.
What You’ll Bring:
Strong experience in infrastructure and cloud engineering, with hands-on expertise in automation and monitoring.
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Groovy, and PowerShell for automation and integration.
Broad infrastructure knowledge across VMware, databases, and enterprise systems.
Proven ability to work across distributed systems and deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to guide and support teams.
Official Certifications in Azure, RedHat, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
Academic background including a BEng in Telecommunications and Telematics, MSc in Machine Learning & Biotechnology, and a PhD in Generative AI (in progress).
