We are seeking a talented
Project Engineer
to join a premium automotive project, focusing on
soft trim and interior materials
such as leather, fabrics, and high-end trims. The role involves collaborating closely with designers and engineers to develop, validate, and implement bespoke interior concepts that balance
creativity, quality, and safety standards . Key Responsibilities: Work with design and CAD teams to develop interior concepts, material selection, and alignment strategies.
Apply
DFMA principles
and risk analysis to ensure robust designs.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, particularly for seats and interior safety systems.
Prepare validation plans, conduct testing, analyse results, and report findings for sign-off.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design, manufacturing, and project requirements.
Candidate Profile: Experience:
Minimum 5 years in automotive or related engineering, preferably in
interior design, soft trim, or luxury vehicle projects .
Skills:
Exposure to DFMA, CAD tools (CATIA, NX, or similar), design validation, and testing.
Background:
Experience with
Tier 1 suppliers
or high-end automotive projects preferred.
Commitment:
Full-time onsite availability, particularly for the initial months of the contract.
