Expleo are working closely as a preferred supplier to a UK based OEM, as we actively recruit a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our team on contract/permanent basis, to be based in Lancashire.

Responsibilities

  • Work with other client stakeholders to promote and get feasibility approval
  • Develop requirements using DOORS NXG to industrialise feasibility study
  • Applicate electrically new components into existing trucks to ensure that the client meets its legislative targets by writing requirements into DOORS NXG
  • Support client with any current product quality

Background and experience

  • Understand new feature request from marketing and then develop technical concept and undertake a feasibility study which takes into account cost, weight, timing, packaging, harnessing
  • Experience with DOORS NXG required, Rhapsody in C desirable
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to lead activities and contribute to high-quality work products
  • Systematic and structured approach to work, providing a clear framework for stakeholders
  • High self-motivation to meet program deadlines in a challenging environment

Location

Position is mostly remote with occasional travel to North-west England.
