AV Field Service Engineer – South

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established audio-visual solutions provider for an experienced AV Field Service Engineer to join their growing team. The Role:


This is a varied role where you will typically spend 4 days on client sites and 1 day working from home. You will be responsible for ensuring AV systems operate seamlessly, carrying out preventative maintenance, resolving technical issues, and delivering excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve AV system faults on-site
  • Perform preventative maintenance and servicing of equipment
  • Produce accurate job reports following visits
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support ongoing contracts
  • Provide support to the AV Help Desk as required
  • Organise bench repairs or liaise with manufacturers where necessary
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs and company quality standards


Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Field Service AV Engineering role
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills within AV systems
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Hands-on knowledge of systems including: Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC, Logitech, Poly, Biamp, ZeeVee, Shure
  • Familiarity with remote management tools: Utelogy, Barco, Fusion, RMS, Avedia Server, TMS
  • AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification - preferable
