What You'll Be Doing:

As a vital member of our team, you will:

• Generate clearance documentation (e.g., SQS/NCQC/ADOM).
• Assess certification evidence to ensure it supports clearance, and present findings for formal sign-off.
• Identify and track clearance dependencies, collaborating with AJT and AVS Sub System teams.
• Work with external assessors to secure independent assessment and approval of AJT clearances.
• Coordinate clearance baselines across detailed product sets.
• Evaluate the traceability of clearance evidence.
• Support clearance programme reviews as needed.

Your Skills and Experience:

Essential:

• Knowledge of the Typhoon platform.
• Understanding of qualification and certification processes.
• Ability to work within agreed standards and procedures, with a strong grasp of configuration control.

Desirable:

• A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience/qualifications.
• Experience with JIRA Agile project management tools.

About the AJT Systems Engineering Clearance Team:

The AJT Systems Engineering Team is part of the broader Typhoon Avionics Systems function, comprising multi-discipline teams that support both current and future projects for the Eurofighter Typhoon. You will collaborate closely with our customers and partner nations.

As a Senior Avionic Systems Engineer within the AJT Clearance team, you will play a crucial role in delivering the qualification and certification of strategic avionic products. Your expertise will support the qualification of Typhoon avionic design changes, working alongside Safety, System Problem Reports (SPR), and Test Requirements & Analysis (TR&A) teams.

In this senior role, you will enjoy greater autonomy, assist the Group Leader in team duties, and coach junior members. Plus, you’ll have opportunities for growth across the wider avionics team!
