AWS Platform Engineer - London (Hybrid, 2/3 days a week) - £70K

We're looking for a Platform Engineer to join a team delivering modern cloud solutions. You'll help design, build, and maintain scalable platforms that support fast software delivery and operational reliability.

Key responsibilities:

Design and manage AWS-based platforms with a focus on EKS and containerized workloads

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments

Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation

Work closely with development teams to improve reliability and performance

Set up monitoring, logging, and observability tools for production environments

Drive automation across infrastructure and application layers

Skills and experience:

Solid AWS experience, including EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, and related services

Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization

Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline

Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash)

Understanding of Information security best practices (ISO27001, SOC, NIST)
