We're looking for an experienced Azure Cloud & Infrastructure DevOps Lead to join our client in theirNewcastle office. In this pivotal role, you'll drive our cloud-first strategy, leading the design, implementation, and optimisation of Azure infrastructure and DevOps practices across a global organisation.

What you’ll do:

• Define and own the Azure DevOps roadmap
• Lead the implementation of automation, security, and governance in cloud environments
• Collaborate with global and regional IT teams to mature DevOps practices
• Drive cloud adoption and optimise services across multiple regions
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions

What you’ll bring:

• 4+ years as a Certified Azure DevOps Engineer
• Proven experience in Azure architecture, automation (Terraform, Ansible), and DevOps tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub)
• Strong leadership and communication skills in a matrix-managed environment
• Expertise in Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and FinOps
