Azure Data Engineer

My client is seeking an Azure Data Engineer to help build and optimise data infrastructure on Microsoft Azure to support analytics, reporting, and secure data operations.

Core Functions: * Develop scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Azure tools (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Fabric) * Integrate data across systems (HR, CRM, legal, finance) * Enforce GDPR-compliant governance and security * Optimize performance and cost of data workflows * Collaborate with teams to deliver clean, structured data

Key Skills Required: * Azure data services, Python/PySpark/SQL, data modelling * Power BI (preferred), legal system familiarity (bonus) * Strong grasp of UK data regulations

Certifications: * Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect) desirable
