Skills: ** You MUST hold current SC cleared status**, as well as Azure DevOps experience using Ansible, Docker, ADO pipelines, Linux. Also essential is for your journey into DevOps to have come from a software development background and not infrastructure support.

Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong software engineering background and active SC clearance? We're working with a leading IT consultancy that is seeking a talented DevOps professional to join their team and play a key role in supporting and enhancing critical infrastructure.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading infrastructure automation, ensuring smooth delivery pipelines, and supporting development environments across Azure. Key responsibilities include:

Maintaining and upgrading infrastructure scripts (build, deploy, etc.) using Ansible, Docker and Python
Creating, maintaining and upgrading Azure DevOps pipelines for Java builds, Docker builds and Ansible deployments
Maintaining and upgrading Linux Dev/Test environments and associated Azure resources

Core Skills

Strong experience with Azure, Ansible, Docker, ADO pipelines, and Linux
Solid software engineering background (ideally .NET)

Desirable Skills

Azure CLI and Python scripting
Linux system administration (certificates, firewalls, credentials and permissions)
