Location & Schedule

Hybrid working: 1 day per week in the office.

DGH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global client based in Birmingham who are looking for an Azure Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis to help the team design, implement and maintain cloud solutions and services in Azure.

Role Summary

The role will be responsible for managing and optimising Azure resources, deploying and configuring cloud infrastructure, automating workflows and processes and ensuring security and compliance standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide level 3 support across a breadth of Azure services including but not limited to; Azure IAAS, PAAS, Terraform, Containers, Subscription and Tenant management, Azure DevOps, Azure security.
• Design, maintain and enhance a portfolio of Terraform scripts.
• Automate workflows and processes using Logic Apps, Azure Functions or other tools.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met using Azure policies, roles and permissions.
• Act as a member of an On-Call Rota for out-of-hours P1 major incidents.

Required Skills / Experience

• Strong knowledge of Azure services and features, such as Azure Management, Terraform Containers, Logic Apps, Private Endpoints and Azure Open AI Azure Networking and WAF.
• Experience in using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or other tools for version control and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and tools, such as Azure Security Center, or Azure Key Vault.
• Certifications in Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (desirable)
