Overview
Azure Engineer role at Ekco as part of the professional services team, delivering transformational Public Cloud migration and modernisation projects to customers. We are a multi-disciplinary, agile team of experts covering consulting and engineering, collaborating closely with business colleagues and customers to ensure the best possible service.
Responsibilities
- Engaging in the design, planning and implementation of Public Cloud projects for key Ekco clients
- Working closely with the Project Management team to deliver exceptional projects and solutions
- Creating detailed high-level and low-level design and project handover documents to communicate solutions to clients and Ekco’s service delivery teams
- Collaborating with business units and stakeholders across the architecture, commercial and technical teams to support the implementation of customer solutions
- Providing technical coaching to team members, ensuring that technical documentation is maintained in line with Ekco standards and policies
Qualifications / About You
- A strong customer focus, with an ability to continually anticipate and meet customers’ needs, excelling in communicating at all levels within a customer organisation
- Excellent working knowledge of Azure infrastructure services; Compute, Storage, Networking, Azure Virtual Desktop
- Experience working to ensure customer solutions and services comply with the relevant product standards and internal documentation (in accordance with ISO certification)
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a Professional Services role for a Cloud Managed Services provider
Desirables
- Experience architecting production environments across Physical, Virtualised and Cloud technologies
- Experience managing or implementing Microsoft 365 services; Entra ID and Conditional Access, Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint
- Knowledge of DevOps best practices and CI/CD tools
- Demonstrable knowledge of Terraform
- Understanding of Service Management best practices frameworks such as ITIL
- Knowledge of on-premise networking principles and products and how they integrate with cloud services
