Azure Engineer Birmingham Competitive salary (depending on experience) between £40,000 and £65,000 Hybrid working environment We are seeking a skilled Azure Engineer to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical and infrastructure expertise, a sound understanding of IT security best practices, and the confidence to work directly with clients. This role also involves responsibilities for documentation, controls, and compliance, helping to ensure our systems meet industry standards. Key Responsibilities Design, implement and maintain Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud infrastructure, including networking, compute, storage, and identity services. Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, CLI). Monitor, optimise and support Azure-based solutions to ensure high availability and performance. Implement and maintain IT security controls, including identity and access management, encryption, and monitoring. We also maintain and control third party clients system access. Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand technical requirements, present solutions and provide guidance.
