Azure / .NET Infrastructure Engineer, Platform

We are looking for a Senior Azure / .NET Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing Platform Engineering team. This role will have a direct impact on our customers, our engineers, and our business by ensuring our applications are highly available, scalable, and performant.

Who You Are

Our ideal candidate is an Infrastructure Engineer experienced in scaling .NET applications, with a passion for optimization and performance improvements. You bring a strong background in Site Reliability and Infrastructure Engineering for .NET applications. You follow Agile and DevOps principles, can effectively influence teams to achieve goals, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Your Impact

As an Infrastructure Engineer on the Auto Integrate Platform team, you will:

  • Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
  • Manage and scale a .NET stack
  • Implement monitoring tools to improve observability
  • Perform code review of new features to ensure they meet performance requirements
  • Debug production issues across all levels of the stack
  • Plan for the growth, optimization, and automation of Auto Integrate’s Infrastructure

Your Experience

  • 5+ years of Azure Experience
  • Experience with .NET framework
  • Experience hosting web applications on Windows VMs
  • Experience with Azure DevOps Build & Release Pipelines
  • Expert at profiling and benchmarking source code
  • Effective at code review and identifying potential performance problems before they reach production
  • Experience with New Relic or other APM tools

Considered a Plus

  • Infrastructure as Code tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
  • Deep understanding of cloud network fundamentals (routing, firewalls, load balancers, CDNs, VNets, etc.)
  • Experience with SQL Server Databases
  • Experience modernizing cloud applications in Azure
