Morson Talent are currently seeking a B1.3 License Engineer on a short-term contract to be based at Gloucestershire Airport in Cheltenham.PURPOSE –• Base Maintenance Activity at Staverton facility- including the Part-145 maintenance of EC-135 & H-145 aircraftDUTIES –• Inspection of systems, requesting spare parts, materials and equipment to safely deliver the planned and emergent Base Maintenance, Component Workshop and Aircraft Installations activity.• Working with Supervisors and Certifying Staff. Ensures all set tasks are executed in accordance with relevant procedures, regulation and process. Notifying the Supervisors, BMIC, Head of Maintenance of discrepancies found and recorded.• Support of Line Maintenance for aircraft located at Staverton, including the liaison and de-confliction with the training School/ HQ Operations departments in support of pilot training service delivery targets.• Local support of the Hangars and equipment in Staverton via control of the Hangar Support Supervisor to ensure that facilities are maintained and presented in a professional and compliant manner. Actively follow the lean and safety cultures within your areas of work.• Effective following of company procedures within the maintenance activity, the facility and the Engineering Department.• Provide Engineering handover reports as required.• May conduct maintenance activity as required- acting as Certifying Staff• Will be rostered for equal time On/Off shifts in a 4,6,4, working pattern or Mon-Fri (roughly 40+ Hrs per week)KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE -• >5 years UK Aviation industry experience, in particular Rotary Wing operations & technical support.
