The engineer will report to the Chief Engineer and be responsible for the safety, regulatory compliance, and operational performance of all Part-145/A8-23 aircraft maintenance activities within the Aircraft Maintenance department and detached locations. The role also involves supporting engineering decisions and guiding personal and team development.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain the overall performance of the aircraft maintenance operation and personnel at relevant stations.Promote a “Just Culture” regarding safety and reporting of occurrences.Be responsible for maintenance and certification of aircraft and equipment allocated by the Crew Chief.Support operations and maintenance of aircraft at main base and detached locations worldwide.Supervise and perform ground movements of assigned aircraft.Ensure technical staff adhere to safety standards and follow Maintenance Manuals and Organisation Exposition.Certify maintenance performed by the team.Ensure timely and accurate completion of aircraft documentation related to maintenance activities.Coordinate engineering activities to enable the team to meet targets within budget.Bring previous experience from an aircraft maintenance environment, including line, base, or workshop settings.Hold an unrestricted CAA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 licence with relevant type ratings and/or company authorisations, with over 5 years of proven experience in aircraft maintenance.Possess good knowledge of regulatory requirements related to aircraft maintenance.Ability to work to deadlines.Strong communication, team-building, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to motivate and influence change aligned with company values.Experience or understanding of continuous improvement projects.Our Employee ValuesDraken is committed to eliminating discrimination and celebrating diversity.
