Backend Software Engineer / Developer (C# .Net Core) Sunderland / WFH to £70k. Opportunity to progress your career in a senior, hands-on Backend Software Engineer role at a growing games / gambling site, whilst enjoying a range of benefits and perks.

As a Backend Software Engineer within the customer onboarding team you will help shape the player onboarding and registration journeys, including KYC and identity verifications. You'll design and develop backend features that interact with the web front end (TypeScript, Vue.js) and migrate code from .Net MVC to .Net Core, ensuring it's reliable, scalable and well documented.

This is a senior position where you'll contribute to the planning of technical projects, provide guidance, conduct code reviews and input into technical discussions and decision making.

Location / Work Arrangement

There is a hybrid work from home policy with 2-3 days a week in the office. When in the office, you will be collaborating with fellow technologists in Sunderland in a relaxed environment with facilities and perks including free meals at the onsite restaurant as well as membership at the onsite gym.

About You

• You have strong C# .Net Core backend development experience
• You have experience of building scalable, reliable and secure web applications using modern techniques
• You have experience of implementing frontend applications
• You have a good knowledge of AWS
• You're collaborative with great communication, mentoring and leadership skills
