Backend Software Engineer / Developer (Golang AWS) WFH / London to £100k

Are you experienced in high throughput backend software engineering?

Join one of Europe's fastest-growing audio content platforms with 176 million active users, aiming to become the world's leading music streaming service. As a Backend Software Engineer, you'll lead the development, optimization, and scaling of the media streaming pipeline, designing systems that process petabytes of data and support high traffic for seamless playback. You'll develop backend services in Go / Golang within a cloud AWS environment, working on various projects with a modern tech stack, continually improving using the latest techniques.

Location / WFH:

Work mostly from home, with the option to join the London team once a month. The office offers a sociable environment with perks and experiences, and flexibility to visit more often if preferred.

About you:

• Experience building and scaling backend systems using Go / Golang
• Experience developing high availability, high performance systems and monitoring distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of AWS and IaC tools like Terraform
• Experience designing and maintaining microservices architecture, including databases, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments with autonomy
