Baggage Engineer London / Stansted Airport Market Standard Rates - Inside IR35 Vetting: Ideally CTC and Airside Pass A Baggage Engineer is needed by iO Associates to work with a leading global design, engineering, and project management consulting company. They are employed in the infrastructure sector. Through the use of data-rich, virtual, interactive, and collaborative technologies, they help clients make more informed decisions for difficult jobs. We are seeking an experienced Baggage Engineer to support the delivery of critical baggage systems within the Stansted Transformation Programme. This includes Hold Baggage Screening (HBS), Early Baggage Storage (EBS), and Shoreline check-in installations. Key Responsibilities Support the design, delivery, and assurance of baggage systems (HBS, EBS, and check-in). Review and challenge capacity modelling outputs to ensure systems meet future demand. Monitor progress, risks, and issues across the baggage workstream, escalating where needed. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, safety, and technical standards. Engage with stakeholders to maintain alignment between engineering, operations, and programme delivery. About You Active Airport Clearance/Pass or CTC Clearance. Proven experience in baggage system design and delivery, ideally within single terminal operations. Experience with Hold Baggage Screening (HBS), Early Baggage Storage (EBS), and Shoreline check in. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience working on airport infrastructure projects and within live operational environments. This is an on-site role.
