The Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) project currently involves the planning, design and construction of circa 320km of new strategic, large diameter, clean water interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure across Anglian Water's region. The SPA Alliance is also taking on responsibility for the future interconnector pipelines, a further 260km of strategic interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure.
This role hybrid split between home and office.
Responsibilities
Design
Understand and use specifications, installation details, supplier details, and datasheets for various pipe types and applications.
Verify that connection details comply with industry standards and WIMES.
Model pipe and duct routes, as directed by the design engineer.
Health & Safety
Integrate health and safety considerations into all design processes, ensuring safe and maintainable systems.
Design Management
Ensure your work is carried out in accordance with the agreed timescales and effort and advise the Technical Manager of any deviation as soon as it occurs.
Ensure your work has alignment with Alliance data management and BIM procedures, meeting the required data and model maturity levels.
