OverviewJoin to apply for the BMS Commissioning Engineer role at Schneider Electric.Location: Exeter, England, United Kingdom.ResponsibilitiesTo work and collaborate within a team framework adding your skills, innovations and ideas to our ever-growing engineering team of project managers, project engineers and commissioning engineersTo commission solutions as part of customer orders incorporating the software, graphics, installation and commissioning of building management control systems and third-party integrationTo maintain & develop relationships with new & existing customers so that we become their trusted expert in all aspects of worksTo maintain and implement Schneider Electric Core ValuesTo ensure a safe and healthy working environment for themselves and others, at office or site locations. Operating to site requirements, Project Method statements and risk assessments, Schneider Electric Health & Safety SystemsSet up servers and workstations on site and load software and licensesTo pre-commission control panels, field devices onto new and existing systemsTo commission controllers, networks and field devices into a complete control systemTo integrate third party systems onto existing BMS systemsWriting and commissioning controller software through Function Block EditorConfiguring and drawing end user graphics to represent the building controlsTo configure and commission graphics and to document commissioning progress, site reports and assist with Operations and Maintenance manualsTo handover and demonstrate the completed system to customer/consultantTo manage installations and sub contractors with the support of Project ManagersTo support Schneider Electric and client support teams on new and existing projectsSkills and QualificationsDue to the nature of the role, a background in electrical engineering or related subject is preferableExperience in a similar technical role would be advantageous, but on the job training will be providedExperience of working in a customer-focused environmentExperience in on site commissioning and site experience is preferredExperience in BMS software and graphics is preferred but training is provided on productsExperience in our EcoStruxture product or legacy products Sigma, Vista or Continuum is advantageousAbility to work independently and as part of a teamSome accreditations in HVAC controls, BCIA or CIBSE is advantageousHave a strong interest and passion in STEM (science, engineering, technology or mathematics)Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPointFluent English (Written and Verbal)Full UK driving licenseWhat we offerCompetitive salary & Bonus Scheme, 28 Days Annual Leave + Public Holidays, Holiday Buy & Sell programme, Pension Scheme, Employee Share Ownership Programme, Various Health & Wellbeing Support Options, Gym Flex, Open Talent Market (internal mobility opportunities + access to mentors & projects globally), Shopping & Dining Discounts, Learning Portal and much more.ApplyPlease submit an online application to be considered for any position with us.
