In this crucial role, you’ll take full accountability for commissioning BMS projects, providing exceptional service, and contributing to our client's goal of creating energy-efficient smart buildings.
Role Overview
Your mission as a BMS Commissioning Engineer is to oversee the setup phase of BMS projects, ensuring systems run optimally, adhering to project timelines, and addressing any problems that may arise. From initial system concepts to the completed commissioning and handover, your technical proficiency and proactive approach will play a crucial part in our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commission BMS projects using Trend, Tridium, or EcoStruxure systems
- Combine project management skills, engineering know-how, and a customer-centric approach to oversee system setup phases
- Effectively troubleshoot systems, identifying and rectifying any faults
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients are satisfied and informed at every stage
- Regular collaboration with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Carry out site surveys and contribute to the system design phase when required
- Be part of an on-call rota to provide technical support to clients, promoting our commitment to exceptional service
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven BMS commissioning experience, ideally with Trend, Tridium or EcoStruxure
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and technical aptitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Full UK driving license is required
- Familiarity with current building regulations and health and safety legislation is advantageous
