An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced

BMS Engineer

to join a leading data centre maintenance team based in

Chertsey, Surrey . This role offers the chance to work within a high-performing technical environment, ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and uptime of critical systems within a modern data centre.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate, maintain, and optimise

Building Management Systems (BMS)

across data centre environments.

Monitor, analyse, and respond to system alarms and performance issues.

Carry out

planned and reactive maintenance

on BMS and associated control systems.

Support the management of HVAC and environmental control systems.

Liaise with subcontractors and internal teams to resolve technical issues.

Identify and implement energy efficiency improvements.

Maintain accurate service records and system documentation.

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a

BMS Engineer , ideally within a

data centre or critical environment .

Good working knowledge of

Trend, Siemens, or Schneider

BMS systems (or similar).

Understanding of

mechanical and electrical building services

(HVAC, plant, controls).

Ability to fault-find and carry out minor system modifications.

Excellent communication, organisation, and reporting skills.

Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g.,

City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent ).
