Breakdown & Service Engineer

Our client is a company who specialise in providing vertical access solutions, including elevators, construction hoists, and work platforms, primarily for industrial and construction applications.
As a Breakdown & Service Engineer you will be carrying out maintenance, fault-finding, repairs, and provide technical support on products across the UK, ensuring all tasks are completed in line with internal and external customer requirements.
Location: M25 Area, will also cover anywhere in the UK.
Salary: Starting at £45,000 (depending on experience)
Hours 8am-5pm Mon-Fri (1-hour unpaid break) Overtime available
Key Responsibilities
Carry out maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and technical support on Alimak products across the UK. If authorised, perform inspections, tests, commissioning, training, and site surveys. Complete all paperwork (e.g. reports, timesheets) accurately and on time. Follow all company policies, procedures, training, and safety systems. Represent Alimak UK professionally in appearance, behaviour, and conduct on customer sites. Follow all site-specific rules and procedures when working at customer locations.
