Building Physics Engineer\n\nManchester\n\nHR 11016\n\nAn excellent opportunity has become available for a Building Physics Engineer to join a respected energy and sustainability consultancy, working out of their Manchester offices. The role involves liaising closely with architects, design teams and construction companies to deliver dynamic simulation modelling for residential, commercial, leisure and mixed use developments. \n\nTo be considered for this role you will:\n\nHave previous experience undertaking energy and thermal modelling work, preferably within a consultancy environment\nHold a BEng / MEng in an appropriate building services / environmental engineering discipline and have membership to a relevant professional body such as CIBSE\nHave demonstrable energy consumption and overheating analysis experience\nBe confident in liaising with clients, design teams and internal M&E Engineer's\nHave a strong interest in energy efficiency and sustainable building design\nWithin this role you will be responsible for:\n\nUndertaking energy / thermal modelling projects using the latest IES VE software\nAssisting with the preparation of energy strategies\nCompleting heat load calculations and overheating analysis\nWorking alongside Sustainability Consultant's to help with the delivery of BREEAM assessments\nPreparing high quality technical reportsIn return the company are offering you:\n\nCompetitive starting salary and regular pay reviews\nGenerous annual leave entitlement\nFurther professional training and career progression opportunities\nInterested?
