About Us Our client are a forward-thinking building services / HVAC and Refirgeration based in Bristol, delivering innovative design solutions across a wide range of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, and industrial markets . Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer to join our expanding team. The Role As a Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of mechanical systems, with a strong focus on HVAC solutions. You will work closely with clients, architects, and other engineers to provide efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable building services designs from concept through to completion. Key Responsibilities * Design and specification of mechanical building services systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), hot and cold water, and public health systems. * Production of detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports. * Collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams to ensure coordination of MEP services. * Conducting calculations and using design software such as Hevacomp, IES, or Revit (BIM). * Supporting project delivery across multiple sectors, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to high quality standards. * Engaging with clients and attending design meetings to provide technical input. * Contributing to sustainable and low-carbon design solutions. ...
