Building Services Maintenance Engineer

£45,000 - £48,000

We currently have a great opportunity for a Building Services Maintenance Engineer to join an established and reputable maintenance provider to cover a portfolio of sites across London. Working Monday to Friday, 8-5, the role involves planned and reactive maintenance of building services on commercial properties. The company is continuing to grow and secure new contracts.

Successful candidates will be experienced with building maintenance and HVAC systems, able to work independently as well as part of a team. Engineers should have at least three years of experience in the commercial building services maintenance sector. No formal qualifications are necessary, but electrical, mechanical, A/C, or plumbing qualifications will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) & Reactive Maintenance
• Electrical Fault-Finding
• Single & Three Phase Power
• Statutory Compliance Duties
• Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarms
• Tap Temperatures, Flushing, Water Treatment
• Sprinklers, Filters, Belts, AHUs, FCUs
• General Building Services / Fabric Tasks

Requirements

• Electrical or Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds in Electrical Installations, Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, A/C, or relevant qualifications)
• Apprentice-trained candidates are desirable
• Building Services Maintenance experience
• Client-facing skills
• Experience with paperwork including log books

Salary and Benefits

• Monday to Friday, 8-5 working week
• £45,000 - £48,000 per annum
