CNC Recruitment are looking for a skilled and reliable Cable Harness Manufacturing Engineer to join our client in Yeovil a well-respected aerospace engineering company.
Woking hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am 5.30pm and Friday 8.00am to 12.30pm Job Type: Temp to Perm (Permanent after 16 weeks) Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fibre optic/electrical and mechanical design principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to understand assembly practices. This role requires close collaboration with the manufacturing team to understand assembly techniques. Documentation and Standards: Create and maintain accurate assembly instructions, work instructions and inspection criteria for manufacturing and QA. Ensure instructions and processes comply with relevant standards (e.g. IPC-620 / ARINC / IEC 61300-3-35 / AS9100). Produce work instructions/routings from technical drawings/specifications for production build.
